The value of a SmallHD monitor goes well beyond a spec sheet. Today’s filmmaker is expected to do more with less, and to do it with excellence. That’s why investing in the right on set tools is so important. Over the years, SmallHD has invested in things like durability, usability, and practicality. Things that aren’t always listed on a spec sheet, but end up making all the difference.

SmallHD FOCUS 5 LCD
The 5-inch FOCUS LCD is a daylight viewable touchscreen monitor that can supply power to small DSLR and mirrorless cameras. With 800 nits of brightness, integrated Sony L Series battery plate, optional Tilt Arm mounting accessory, and 7.2v power output capability, the FOCUS 5 LCD solves real problems for run and gun shooters.
“We have much more control of the image with this monitor! You can clearly see the exposures on the image, framing it perfectly and setting the focus on a point. We mostly use our SmallHD FOCUS on a handheld rig or on the gimbal. With it's lightweight it's a good choice on almost every rig.” - Elias Rüetschi, PeakFrames
SmallHD FOCUS Bolt 500 TX
With a built-in 500-foot range Teradek transmitter and Micro HDMI input, this 5-inch touchscreen monitor is the perfect multipurpose monitor for camera/gimbal operators that need to send a wireless feed to their director, client, or focus puller. The FOCUS Bolt 500 TX is compatible with Teradek Bolt 500 receivers and can be paired with up to 4 different devices at once.
"I’ve been using Teradek and SmallHD in tandem for years now- Both brands have proven time and time again why they’re the industry standard… it comes down to reliability. This amazing collaboration has provided me with a single, integrated solution that has lead to a more efficient, seamless workflow on set. It’s already saved my camera department valuable setup time and maintains the same reliability I come to expect from SmallHD and Teradek.” - Morgan Cooper, Cinematographer
